The trailer of Nanak Shah Fakir was launched this evening. Present at the launch were producer Harinder Sikka, co-producers Samar Sikka and Resul Pookutty, and Padman actor Akshay Kumar.
At the launch, Akshay spoke about his connect with religion and his first experiences with The divine.
And when the producer narrated an incident from the shoot, Akshay added saying,
“Such things happen with such devotional films. I still remember in my childhood a film had come titled Jia Santoshi Maa which faced many hardships before they were shown to the masses but it did such business it was humongous and so was the case with Manoj Kumar’s Shirdi Ke Sai Baba.”
“In my whole career, I have never seen many movies release even after facing difficulties but I have never seen a movie re-release and so many people coming to watch it, is a miracle that I am witnessing it for the first time”, said Akshay.
