Anees Bazmee and Kartik Aaryan
Kartik Aaryan is currently on cloud nine. The actor has recently been roped in to play the lead in the sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is being directed by Anees Bazmee.
Speaking about having Kartik Aaryan on board for Bhool Bhualaiyaa 2, director Anees Bazmee said:
“We’ve finalized Kartik for the lead in the Bhool Bhulaiya sequel. I feel he has tremendous aptitude for comedy. At the same time he can look most vulnerable and almost childlike on screen just like Akshay Kumar.”
Speaking about the rest of the cast, Anees said:
“I am yet to sit down with my producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani to decide on the rest of the cast and crew. But I can tell you this. My Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 would be done in my style.”
Akshay had played the lead role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was directed by Priyadarshan and he won’t make an appearance in the sequel.
Director Anees said that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is not connected to the first film of that title at all.
According to sources, the original title is being revived. Otherwise, everything in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 including the actors, technicians and musicians would be different.
Well, let’s hope that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 lives up to the expectation of the viewers as Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a massive hit among the audiences and Akshay had just created magic in the movie. Knowing Kartik as an actor, he can too create great magic in the movie, but who knows what will happen. Only time can tell.
