After Kapil Sharma, Arjun Kapoor has fallen under the BMC Radar. The 31 year old actor was slapped with a legal notice from Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation for the illegal construction on the terrace. The BMC officials stated the construction of 30-by-16 sq ft brick room, which the actor uses as a gym, was done without permission.
While the residents of the building have not logged any complaint, it seems an activist did so and forced BMC to take strict actions. The actor’s representative also told the municipal official that the structure was there from a long time but they were unable to produce any documents.
Assistant municipal commissioner Parag Masurkar was quoted saying –
“We have given them enough time to produce supporting documents to prove that the structure is legal but they failed. Now we have issued the final order asking Arjun Kapoor to allow us to enter his premises to demolish the unauthorized structure on the terrace.”
Sources report that the final demolition was ordered last week owing to irregularities found in the inquiry.
