Directed by National Award-winning director, Tigmanshu Dhulia and starring Amit Sadh & Tapsee Pannu, Barish Aur Chowmein was screened recently as a part of the ZEE5 Film Festival. The movie will be available on the app from 31st August.
The story revolves around Siraj who is unable to rent a house in Mumbai as not many are willing to accommodate a Muslim. So, he hides his true identity and finds a home, where he falls in love with the landlord’s daughter, Neelu. Will Siraj be honest and disclose his secret to Neelu?
Taapsee Pannu is undoubtedly amazing in the movie and Amit Sadh also played his part pretty well. But the best part about it was the treatment of the story; and how financial issues and love relationships can go hand in hand.
Tighmanshu Dhulia and Kausar Munir have once again proved to be best at their jobs and completely wowed us with this story, hence, we give Barish aur Chowmein 3.5 buzzing bees with lots of honey!
