American President Barack Obama awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor, The Medal of Freedom, to 21 names in a ceremony last night.
While the names included Tom Hanks and Michael Jordan, it was Ellen DeGeneres’ reaction to receiving this honor that touched our hearts
Obama presented the media to groundbreaking actors, musicians, athletes and innovators and said,
“Everybody on this stage has touched me in a very powerful, personal way, in ways that they probably couldn’t imagine”
