One of the most keenly awaited films of 2017, Blade Runner 2049 has been in news since its teaser launch. For the first time, we’ll see the powerhouse performers Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford together on the big screen. To kick-start 2017, the makers of the film have released new stills from the film featuring these two actors. This Denis Villeneuve directorial is a sequel to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner that released in 1982.
The Blade Runner 2049 continues with the events occurred in the first film with a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), who unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
The film also stars Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, and Jared Leto.
Blade Runner 2049 opens October 6, 2017. It’s a Sony Pictures Entertainment, India, release.
