Mission Mangal
Akshay Kumar, who has given us inspirational films like Padman, Gabbar Is Back, Toilet and more is all set to star in Mission Mangal – a film based on the Mars Orbiter Mission project launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). While he will now be busy with the promotions of the space mission film, Khiladi Kumar is also shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi.
Yesterday, Akshay Kumar took to social media and launched the teaser of the much-awaited film Mission Mangal co-starring Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and others. The film is about the Mars Orbiter Mission project launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in November 2013, to put a space probe in planet Mars’ orbit.
They wrote:
“Ek Desh. Ek Sapna. India to be a space superpower. Few Days to go for achieving new Milestone! #Chandrayaan2”

Akshay too replied back saying:
“Sky has never been the linit for @isro.in! All the best to the team for #Chandrayaan2”
Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal also stars Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen and Sharman Joshi. Presented by Fox Star Studios, Produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions and Fox Star Studios, the film releases on 15th August 2019!
