Jolly LLB received a lot of critical acclaim & won several Filmfare & National Film Awards, when the court room drama released in 2014.
The makers of the film have decided to turn the movie into a franchise & are back with Jolly LLB 2. While the first one starred the talented Arshad Warsi, Jolly LLB 2 features Akshay Kumar in the lead.
The trailer has the same courtroom drama feel with a lot more dose of witty one-liners & dramatic twists. Akshay Kumar portrays the role of a small time lawyer who bends rules and schemes to win his cases just so he doesn’t have to return the client’s fee! But, he eventually finds himself fighting for a case that means more than making money. Watching Akshay switch between his funny & serious lawyer side is interesting.
Akshay Kumar sings, dances and also gets shot at one point in the trailer but pulls off the role of a lawyer with a rather unusual wit & determination.
