First and foremost, Kaabil’s trailer has not done justice to the amazing movie that it is. The film has not only won over the audience but is getting critical acclaim because of its great storyline and breathtaking scenes.
Kaabil is a ‘one man show’. Hrithik Roshan delivers a striking performance that is not limited in any way. The storyline does justice to every scene that the actor has performed flawlessly. Ronit Roy plays the role of the antagonist brilliantly and his is the best performance after Hrithik Roshan. Both of them together are a powerhouse. Yami Gautam’s acting comes as a surprise and will surely leave you teary-eyed.
The visually impaired Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam fall in love with each other and get hitched. Their lives are disrupted by the bad guys and what follows is Hrithik’s story of revenge! From finding how that system won’t help him to taking the law in his own hands, the storyline is a little slow but gripping till its conclusion.
Sure, there are action scenes that make you go ‘Really?’ but you forget about it towards the end. The music falls a little flat and is the only weak link.
Overall – It’s the same old good vs evil story told in a gripping way. After the disaster that was Mohenjodaro, Hrithik Roshan gives a winning performance that makes Kaabil a good one time watch.
