Social media was flooded with messages from women across the world about empowerment, equality and shopping discounts (Because why not) on women’s day. While it’s true that we need to celebrate women everywhere every day, it’s pretty nice that the world comes together to dedicate one day to the womankind.
Kriti Sanon, however, has a completely different viewpoint. We respect what you are saying Kriti, but it would have been nicer if your words were also supported by actions. It’s easier to call it ‘Happy Whatever’ but VERY hard to find your timeline flooded with everything that we love and respect about women every-freakin-day.

Speaking of the stereotypes described in the video, Kriti falls in the same category of people who have spoken but clearly have done nothing about it. Kriti, you’ve not only managed to do this at the wrong time and in the wrong place but this ‘Holding a placard as a silent protest’ thing is not even original!
