Disaster averted or a calculated move? We all know that the Bollywood was going to witness one of the biggest clash this republic weekend with ‘Padman’ and ‘Padmaavat’. But now, the release of the much-awaited film, ‘Padman’ has been pushed to 9th February.
Today, in the evening, Akshay Kumar called a press conference where Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also present. There, it was announced that Padman’s release has been shifted to February 9th and now ‘Padmaavat’ will get a solo release.
Sanjay stated, “I feel grateful as Akshay Kumar shifted the release date of ‘Padman’. He didn’t even take two minutes.”
Akshay Kumar said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali asked me if I could postpone the release date. I felt like I should because we are a family.”
It seems like a smart decision for both the films. Or, was it because Akshay Kumar didn’t want anything to affect the business of his film? Whatever it is, we are happy that there’s finally a good news for the makers of ‘Padmaavat’.
