Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence, who had quit from directing Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi adaptation of his hit Tamil horror comedy, Kanchana, after he felt disrespected, on Saturday has returned to the project after all the issues were sorted.
The filmmaker made the big announcement on Twitter confirming about his re-entry in the movie as a director and thanked Akshay Kumar for the same.
Raghava Lawrence tweeted:
Hi Dear Friends and Fans…!
As you wished I would like to let you know that I am back on board as a director of #LaxmmiBomb with @akshaykumar pic.twitter.com/9HRHF5y2VV— Raghava Lawrence (@offl_Lawrence) June 1, 2019
One schedule of the film has already been completed in Mumbai. The next long spell has been slated later this September.
With Raghava Lawrence’s decision of returning back to the project, we are looking forward to see the movie in Hindi soon. Kanchana is the second entry in the popular franchise that began in 2007 with Muni. Kanchana explores the life of a ghost-fearing man (played by Lawrence) who gets possessed by a vengeful transwoman (Sarathkumar).
The movie also stars Kiara Advani and is slated to release on June 5, 2020.
