South actor Sai Dharam Tej who turned 31 yesterday, decided to bring in his birthday along with his fans by going Live on his Facebook page. Sai also made an important announcement and shared the news about him becoming a goodwill ambassador for a renowned NGO named ‘Think Peace’. This NGO supports programs in the areas of tribal and rural development, legal literacy, education, healthcare, and equality.
His youthful enthusiasm to contribute to the cause of education was sparked by a quote he came across 8 years ago, ‘What if the Cure for Cancer was trapped inside the mind of someone who can’t afford an education‘. Driven by his own motivation to make a positive difference, he believes in adopting a holistic approach to supporting, preserving and improving the lives of children.
Recognized for his talent, professionalism, and empathy, Sai Dharam Tej commented further on this association saying
“I couldn’t be happier to announce this recent association with Think Peace. I’m glad I got the opportunity to do something for the underprivileged kids, especially those who belong to tribal areas. The NGO is doing a fantastic job with their initiatives and I feel lucky to be able to contribute to the cause. I would also like to give a special heartfelt thank you to all my fans and well-wishers for their constant love and support.”
On the work front, Sai Dharam Tej has been keeping himself busy with his upcoming projects. His film Jawaan is scheduled to release later this year and he’s also set to be seen in the avatar of a light-hearted youngster in his next film with director V.V. Vinayak.
