Satyameva Jayate is an old styled Bollywood action flick full of drama, one item song, corrupt policemen, an honest police officer, an angry young man who’s out looking for corrupt blood and a love story.
Both John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee bang on with acting and very forceful with their respective characters in the film. One Hooded killer and other, an honest policeman, it is interesting to see how they are related and how their stories unfold, together.
The movie does have a good storyline which, if kept apart from all the loudness of the message, extreme violent scenes and all the masala-ness of the film, it would have a stand on its own. Director Milan Milap Zaveri, who is great on giving out bold dialogues in his film, did a decent job in directing a thriller flick, something different from his usual genre of movies.

On-screen chemistry between John and debutant Aisha Sharma is interesting to watch, but isn’t entirely convincing. Aisha plays the role of a vet/NGO volunteer/Wall painter, she is beautiful and refreshing to watch on screen.
A story about a man who is on a mission to burn all the corrupt policemen (only in Mumbai though), and how a game of tom and jerry is broken loose when Inspector Shivansh Rathod is on his hunt to catch the hooded killer. It is an entertaining but quite illogical thriller.
We give it 2.5 buzzing bees.
