Soha Ali Khan, recently turned author with the release of her debut book “The Perils of being Moderately Famous”, which has received immense praise from readers across the country.
After a star-studded launch in Mumbai, Soha launched the book at Bikaner House in Delhi today along with her mother Sharmila Tagore.
The book, published by Penguin Randomhouse India, is a collection of Soha’s personal essays where she recounts, with self-deprecating humor, what it was like growing up in one of the most illustrious families of the country.
In conversation with Barkha Dutt at the event, Soha spoke about her journey writing this book and how she has expressed her personal experiences and her mother revealed some interesting details about Soha’s growing up years.
The book also carries unreleased images of her family and childhood, along with a few of her adorable baby daughter Inaaya.
From endearing characteristics of her father to her mother’s illustrious family tree, her relationships and her struggle with writing, Soha’s debut novel is a breezy and riveting read, full of insights and humour.
Her entire family came together to bring the book to life at the launch in Mumbai.
