At the launch of his upcoming film October, Varun Dhawan said that he was jealous of Ayushmann Khurana.
Said Varun Dhawan,
“I’ve always been a fan of Shoojit Sircar, Juhi Chaturvedi (writer) and Ronnie Lahiri (producer) for the type of films they make. I would always wish for an opportunity to work with them. I remember being very jealous of Ayushmann Khurana when he did Vicky Donor.”
The actor added,
“I was cast after Banita Sandhu in the film. That’s the way casting should be done. It shouldn’t be that a person is doing well, so let’s cast him/her. He cast me in the film before Badrinath & Judwaa 2 released. I literally chased him. When I heard why Juhi & Shoojit want to make this film, I was very moved and felt that I need to be in this film.”
Also starring Banita Sandhu, October is scheduled to release on 13th April.
