A plot that revolves around people living in the same Mumbai chawl, 3 Storeys is a movie that tried its best to stand out but didn’t completely succeed. Debut director Arjun Mukherjee gathered a brilliant cast for the movie but it lacked lot of important elements.

It’s a good story but its predictability pulls it back. The film is a mixture of three stories, first one of Renuka Shahane, a sad story of a mother who lost her son; second, an unfinished love story of two people (Sharman Joshi and Masumeh Makhija) who come face to face after many years, and the third also is a love story that takes an ugly turn. At first, it seems a simple feud of Hindu-Muslim but its only later that a dark truth is revealed.
Do watch this film only if you love raw thrillers. We give it 2.5 Buzzing Bees.
