As the year ends, we’ve created a list of the women in Bollywood who have blown our minds, pretty sure you’d concur with us!
1. Alia Bhatt In Udta Punjab
Troll her all you want but when she is in front of the camera, she is a force of her own! She is unstoppable, inspiring, vulnerable & fierce all at same time. Udta Punjab was hard hitting & it wouldn’t be wrong to say that she was a major reason behind it. Alia also went in for a complete de-glam look in the movie, a risk that most divas we know would never take!
2. Taapsee Pannu In Pink
The girl certainly has talent backing her gorgeous looks. This year Taapsee’s talent flourished on the big screen as she played the role of a scared yet strong woman ready to fight for her rights! Our expectations from her have gone way higher & we hope she continues to impress us!
3. Nimrat Kaur In Airlift
Even thought Airlift was more about the Superstar Akshay Kumar, Nimrat managed to pull our attention towards her character with her significant performance in the film. Nimrat has already proven her acting prowess but this just probes once again why she has a long glorious career ahead of her!
4. Diana Penty In Happy Bhag Jayegi
This year also saw the return of Diana Penty to Bollywood after 4 years & made us realize that we did actually miss watching her on the big screen. Diana played the role of a girl who would go all out for love making us smile, cry & laugh throughout the screen time of the Rom-Com! With Happy Bhag Jayegi, Diana has established herself as someone who can do funny & serious together almost effortlessly.
5. Kiara Advani In M.S. Dhoni
Kiara was recently seen in the latest blockbuster, M.S. Dhoni & her performance as Sushant Singh Rajput’s love interest & wife in the film was a commendable one. She sure knows how to make her presence felt in a scene, plus, isn’t she just gorgeous? Miss Advani has come out as a pleasant surprise in 2016. Here’s hoping we get to see more of her in the coming year.
