The much-awaited winners’ list of the 64th National Film Awards is finally out. The Directorate of Films honored the winners on Friday and it makes for a very interesting list.
While Sonam’s Neerja received the Best Hindi Film of 2016, Akshay Kumar won the Best Actor award for Rustom, and Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink bagged the best film on social issues award.

Best Special Effect Award- ‘Shivaay’.
