From the day ‘Kesari’ was announced, the speculations about the female lead had also started floating on the Internet.
But finally, it is announced, and it’s Parineeti Chopra who has been roped in to play the leading lady in the Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Kesari’.
Producer Karan Johar made the announcement on Twitter and said, “The lead actress in ‘Kesari’ is Parineeti Chopra”.

The shooting of the Anurag Singh directorial started last week. It is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Akshay Kumar’s company Cape of Good Films collaborated to produce the film which will be releasing on Holi 2019.
