Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi aka Mahatma Gandhi aka Bapu certainly turned the History of our country in a way the world never witnessed before. Gandhi is a name not only popular in History books but also in the popular culture and films.

Mahatma Gandhi has also been an important part in Bollywood movies. The role of Gandhi has not only stayed restricted to India but has also touched a lot of foreign lands. Today on 2nd October, on his birthday, we list down some of his movies that showcased Mahatma Gandhi’s life like never before:

Take a look:

  1. Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006)

Certainly not the kind of film you would imagine Mahatma Gandhi but this film certainly stole our hearts with the little meaningful references of Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings and how apt Dilip Prabhavalkar was as Gandhi.

Let’s remember this legend on his birth anniversary i.e. Gandhi Jayanti. Let’s follow Gandhigiri and as Gandhiji has said:

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
