Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen in one of the biggest box-office successes this year – Stree, recently began shooting for her upcoming movie, the Saina Nehwal biopic – that has been getting a lot of halts and reports.
But, as per sources, the shoot of the movie has been put on hold once again, due to the star’s health.
Reportedly, Shraddha Kapoor was diagnosed with dengue and the same has led to stalling of the shoot.
As per a leading daily’s report, the star has taken a break from the biopic.
“Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists,” a source from the set told the leading daily.
The producer of the movie Bhushan Kumar also confirmed the news and said that Shraddha had a very busy schedule for months now and the same seems to have taken a toll on her health. He also went on and said how all team members empathize with Shraddha’s situation. The team will soon get the update on her health and when she can start with work again. After all these halts, Shraddha is now keen to get back to it as soon as possible.
For all those who don’t know, the biopic is helmed by Amol Gupte and Shraddha plays the titular role in the same. The movie traces the journey of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal. The movie went on floors a few days back i.e. on September 22. Shraddha reportedly is getting training under Pullela Gopichand.
