Akshay Kumar is a busy man who gives us multiple films every year. The actor is currently shooting Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi with Katrina Kaif in Hyderabad. But Akki will now take a break from the cop-drama. He will join the cast of Housefull 4 in Mumbai for a two-day schedule.
A daily recently reported that the cast of Farhad Samji directorial comedy will reunite for the shoot of a song. Post the wrap of Housefull 4, the cast had earlier reunited to shoot a special song at a city studio. The song featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui as an exorcist who introduces a plot twist. This sequence had about 300 background dancers.
According to the latest reports, the team is reuniting once again to shoot another song in Mumbai. This song is said to be a dance number. This particular track will form a part of the narrative in the modern portion of the story.
For the ones who do not know, Housefull 4 is divided into two parts – the present and the Baahubali era. The second half will be a comical take on the SS Rajamouli‘s period drama featuring Prabhas. Ganesh Acharya will choreograph the sequence. It will have 200-250 background dancers and a huge set is made for the same.
The film is up for a Diwali release this year and is currently in the post-production stage. A source shared,
“It’s a scaled-up film, the biggest in the franchise in terms of budget. The chunk from the Baahubali era that required visual effects were shot much in advance. A team is working on the final edit and VFX.”
