After seeing Anil Kapoor play Sonam Kapoor’s on-screen father in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, he will now be seen as Harshvardhan’s on-screen dad in the Abhinav Bindra biopic. The Mirzya actor even shared a pic of the on-screen and off-screen dads of Abhinav Bindra in 2017.
Harsh had confirmed his presence in the film by sharing a picture with the Olympic Gold Medalist in September 2017. He posted:
Earlier, Harshvardhan had revealed:
”The biopic is a big responsibility because of the subject matter. It is the most mammoth responsibility I’ve ever shouldered. I roped in Abhay, who wrote the final draft of Bhavesh Joshi, to work on a new draft of the Bindra biopic. We are taking the script into a really exciting place. It’s about externalising internal conflicts, and making it emotionally and visually spectacular.”
Abhinav Bindra became the first Indian sportsperson to win an individual gold medal at the 2008 Olympics held in Beijing.
The biopic is said to capture Abhinav’s journey from a 15-year-old till now.
