Katrina Kaif, who was last seen in Bharat, is all set to share the screen with Akshay Kumar once again. The two will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s latest cop drama offering, Sooryavanshi. The duo has earlier delivered many hits including Singh Is Kinng, Welcome and Namaste London
Akshay and Katrina last featured together in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan (2010). The actress recently opened up about working again with Akshay, Rohit Shetty and much more.
Katrina when asked if her equation with Akshay has changed over the years, the actress told a leading daily,
“Not at all. With him, it always feels like going back home. He is a wonderful co-star. Still so focused and dedicated to his craft. He loves his craft and you can see that.”
When asked about her work experience with Rohit Shetty, she said,
“He is very clear and precise about what he wants. He has an amazing team to support him.”
People always have huge expectations from the Rohit Shetty films, Katrina added.
“I think we all have the pressure to deliver with every film. Every actor wants and craves for that box office success and acceptance from the audience. But at the same time, we are prepared for hits and misses.”
Sooryavanshi is the fourth film of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Akshay plays DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad whereas Katrina plays his love interest in the film. Sooryavanshi was earlier supposed to clash with Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah, but Rohit Shetty decided to prepone the release date to avoid the clash. The cop drama will now release on March 27, 2020.
