Umesh Shukla’s Namune To Feature These Actors?
Umesh Shukla gave us Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor together on the silver screen after 27 years in 102 Not Out. The director is now all set for his next, Namune – a situational comedy film.
Recently, the news that Abhimanyu Dassani and Mrunal Thakur were part of the cast was revealed. Abhimanyu debuted in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota opposite Radhika Madan and Mrunal was last seen in Super 30 opposite Hrithik Roshan. The two will play the main leads in the sit-com.
Now, the latest we hear about the project is that another 2 members have been cast. It has been learnt that Paresh Rawal and Arshad Warsi will be joining the Namune team.
Another tit-bit news is that the film will go on floor next month and will be filmed in India and abroad. Namune will be backed by Sony Pictures Entertainment.
On the work front, Dassani is also part of Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma opposite YouTube sensation Shirley Setia. Mrunal Thakur will soon be seen in this week’s release, Batla House, with John Abraham and also in Farhan Akhtar starrer Toofan.
