Our Review – 2 buzzing bees
When the first trailer of Shivaay came out, it did not live up to our expectations. The only thing we saw in the trailer was Ajay Devgn trekking in the snow clad mountains of Europe. The second trailer however create quite the stir on internet.
The film finally released today and while the action of the movie exceeds your expectation and is a beauty to watch on the big screen, the movie is a little disappointing.With Shivaay, Ajay Devgn dons the cap of the director as well. The movie stars debutantes Sayessha Saigal, Erika Kaar and Abigail Eames with Ajay Devgn.

Shivaay is Ajay Devgn’s show and he owns it with his acting. His chemistry with Abigail Eames is something which cannot be missed, they have some really cute moments together in the film. Sayessha Saigal and Erika Kaar do justice to their respective roles. However, throughout the movie you are confused about what is happening and the reasoning behind it!

The VFX of the film is mind-blowing and looks believable. The major disappointment is the weak storyline and confused screenplay which lets down the sincere performances by the cast. Given the talent that Ajay Devgn has, we feel he could have done a better job as a director with Shivaay! Overall we can say that you can watch Shivaay for Ajay Devgn the actor and not the director.
