Oh how we wait for this list every year! It honors the best of the best and promises a night of wonder for us normal humans! The 89th annual Academy Award nomination list is out and it does not disappoint!
This year’s nomination list is led by none other than ‘La La Land,’ which has been nominated in 14 categories, tying its record with Titanic. Raise your hand if you are secretly praying for the movie to win it all!
The awards will be handed out in 24 categories, and most of them have five nominees each. This year, the organizers have tried to be different with their nomination list, and it’s interesting! Instead of a formal presentation of the aspirants, the Academy announced the nominations through a variety of short videos featuring previous nominees and winners.
