Aayush Sharma To Be Back On Silver Screen And This Time As An Army Officer
Aayush Sharma, who made his debut in Salman Khan Films’ LoveYatri last year is all set for his second film. He will be seen playing an army officer in this film, titled Kwatha, which will be directed by Karan Butani.
Director Karan said:
“It’s a real-life story and the title Kwatha comes from a place in Manipur, one of the last villages on the border of India and Myanmar. It’s a story about the army officer and the relationship he shares with this village.”
On casting Aayush, he said:
“We clicked in the first meeting itself. Very few films have been made on North East and it’s time that the rest of India and the world see how beautiful it is and the stories it has to tell.”
Research of the film is underway and the film should roll in September. Meanwhile, Aayush is working on his look and body as an army officer. Kwatha is produced by Sunil Jain and Aditya Joshi.
