In a sudden turn of events, former Prime Minister, Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee, known for being the first non-Congress leader to serve a full term in power, passed away on Thursday.
He was admitted to a Delhi hospital on 11th August siting health issues. The hospital authorities in a statement said, “He had been put on life support after his condition deteriorated in the last 36 hours.”
Several big names from the B-Town where left aghast at this sudden news of Atalji’s demise. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Priyanka Chopra, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Lata Mangeshkar and several others took to Twitter to offer their condolences just minutes after former prime minister’s death was announced.
