June is here and so are the festivals. The month of June is welcome to many festivals and celebrations in India. Coming this month is Eid. As Muslims around the world bid Ramadan farewell, they prepare to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the end of the Muslim holy month.
Each country has a set of customs associated with Eid. Generally, Muslims prepare for Eid prayer by taking a shower and dressing in new clothes. With clothes being an important marker of Eid, some people wear traditional clothes from their culture, while others pick out something more modern to wear.
So as Eid is is tomorrow, i.e on 5th June, we at BollywoodBee would like to share you with some amazing traditional outfits that you can wear during the festival.
For Men:

Guys love to wear this when it comes to Indian wear. Basically, it is a kurta and the pajama is like a salwar. You can also wear a Pathani kurta with any kind of western or Indian bottom wear to create multiple outfits.
- Kurta Pajama:
The most common thing worn by men during any traditional day is a kurta pajama. The only difference between kurta pajama and pathani is that a pajama is a tight knitted chudidar kind and Pathani pajama is loosely fitted one like a salwar.

Kurtas are the best and the safest thing to be worn when it comes to a traditional outfit. You can wear them with jeans or pants. To look grander you can top it up with a jacket.

Even a good solid colour shirt and jeans can look ethnic if you pair it up with an ethnic jacket.

Sherwani is similar to kurta pajama, the only difference is that Sherwanis are grander and have a dupatta with it too.
For Women:
- Gharara:
Ghararas are the new ethnic outfit that is totally in demand now. Bollywood is also shown promoting this outfit a lot these days. Gharara is a short kurti with a pant that is fitting till the knee and then has a flare till bottom. You can also wear the pajama as a complete flared one.

Sharara is of floor-sweeping length and is teamed with a kurti and dupatta. The ensemble is usually finely embellished with zari, stone-work, sequins, and beads. Sharara and Gharara’s are often being compared. The only difference between the two outfits is that Gharara flared pants are joined above the knee.

A kurti refers to a shorter length version of a kurta that usually finishes at the hips. You can pair it up with jeans or palazzos or pants or even skirts.
- Patiala Suit:
The Patiala suit is a type of salwar suit that gained popularity in Punjab. The Patiala Salwar has a close resemblance to the Pathani suit, which has loose layers similar to those of a salwar, and a long, knee-length top known as a kameez. You can even wear a T-shirt over the Patiala salwar to give it Indo-Western look.
- Anarkali suit:
The Anarkali suit is made up of a long, frock-style top and features a slim fitted bottom.
- Saree:
The best Indian outfit that every Indian girl looks the best in is a Saree. Saree is a drape that is typically wrapped around the waist, with one end draped over the shoulder, baring the midriff. You can drape your saree in different styles.
Go ahead, dress up and look your best. Keep changing your look for the saying is true:
“Fashion is like eating, you shouldn’t stick to the same menu.”
