Fox Star Studios is all set to release its front-runners for the 90th Academy Award, ‘The Shape of Water’ and ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ in India on 16th and 23rd February 2018 respectively.
Guillermo del Toro‘s lavish monster romance “The Shape of Water” leads the pack with a massive total of 13 nominations followed by ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ with 7 nominations.
As a matter of fact, ‘The Shape of Water’ came just shy of tying the record of 14 nominations by Titanic in the year 1997.
‘The Shape of Water’ has garnered various nominations including The Best Picture, The Best Director, Best Actress, Best Original Screenplay whereas ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ is nominated for Best Actress, Best supporting actor, Best original screenplay.
Besides these Fox’s The Boss Baby, War for the Planet of the Apes, Logan, Ferdinand and The Greatest Showman has also received nominations.
