Actors getting injured on a film set is quite common and same was the case for Harshvardhan Rane!
While shooting for J P Dutta’s forthcoming war drama Paltan in Ladakh, Harshvardhan Rane, who plays a Sikh soldier, had suffered multiple cuts and bruises.
Since the war drama is based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967, veteran filmmaker J P Dutta had arranged for guns belonging to the ‘60s era to lend more authenticity to the film.
According to sources:
“While shooting for the fight sequences, Harshvardhan got several cuts and bruises since he had to use heavy weapons made of iron and steel. When JP Sir noticed these cuts, he got a little worried and told Harshvardhan to get tetanus injections. Since it was quite cold out there, the actor avoided taking off his shirt but after JP Sir recited one of the movie’s popular dialogues humorously ‘Zyada herogiri na dikhaiye’, he obliged to the same.”
Harshvardhan said:
“I think there’s a lot that I have taken back from the movie. Shooting Paltan will always be a great learning and memorable experience. I had never thought of being part of such a massive project that talks about a glorious chapter of Indian history.”
Produced by JP Films and presented by Zee Studios, J P Dutta’s Paltan stars Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Luv Sinha, Siddhant Kapoor, and Gurmeet Choudhary. It is scheduled to release this Friday.
