Our favourite television bahu, Akshara Singhania played by Hina Khan is finally quitting the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai! In these 8 years, Hina Khan played a young girl who eventually grew up to get married with 2 children.
The rumours are true! Hina Khan is in fact quitting the show for real. She will be shooting till end of this month and then her character will be killed off. Hina herself shared this news with the media on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai. She said:-
“Yes, I am quitting the show this month. With a heavy heart, my journey in Yeh Rishta has come to an end. Of course, I know people are emotionally attached but everything has a saturation point. I want to progress in my life. Many times I have said I am never going to part from this show but Rajan (Shahi) Sir has taught me that never say never.”
With Hina’s character dying the show’s focus will switch to Naira’s story. She will be getting married to Karthik and a whole new storyline will be brought in to introduce Karthik’s family.
