Interestingly, the makers of Kaabil have launched their love song with Raees’s ‘O Zaalima.’ Both the movies will lock horns on 25th January 2017, i.e. The Republic Day weekend. While Raees is King Khan’s much-awaited movie, Kaabil is also important for Hrithik after the failure of Mohenjo-Daro.
Let’s take a look at the songs. So while ‘Zaalima’ from Raees features SRK and Mahira Khan and frankly speaking, the duo share a good chemistry. They know how to make us believe in a dream-like romance. Shah Rukh Khan’s pathani swag looks jaw-dropping, and Mahira, who is making her Bollywood debut, compliments him in every frame. Arijit Singh’s voice adds a surreal effect to the song. We wish we could say the same for Kaabil’s Mon Amour! After ‘Fitoor’ it’s Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil that seems to have taken inspiration from a famous Hollywood music video & it still fails to connect with the audience. This song shows the couple taking baby steps, where Hrithik is teaching Yami to dance to his tunes. Hrithik’s dancing as a blind man fails to seem genuine this time and we don’t even know what Yami is doing! Vishal Dadlani’s vocals and music composed by Rajesh Roshan might make this song a perfect dance number, but doesn’t this remind you of Enrique Iglesias’ ‘Bailamos’?
Both the movies hit the theaters on the same day, but guess only time will tell who the clear winner is! So, which song did you like? Check out the songs here and share your views in the comments below.
