Director: Nitin Kakkar
Cast: Zaheer Iqbal, Pranutan Bahl
Runtime: 112 min
Notebook is the story of how a personal journal of Firdaus (Pranutan Bahl), a teacher of a school surrounded on all sides by water affects the life of her replacement teacher Kabir (Zaheer Iqbal).
Pranutan Bahl convincingly plays the teacher which we never had. For her 1st timer, she packs a powerful punch. Zaheer Iqbal takes away the cake with his dance, his acting. Seems like Bollywood has new future stars in the house. The kids are a bundle of joy to watch and demand your attention.
Nitin Kakkar’s nonlinear way of storytelling is a delight to watch, Cinematographer Manoj Kumar Kathoi’s camera makes the scenic Kashmir seem even more scenic and will make you book your tickets to Kashmir this summer.
Music and background score of Vishal Mishra enhances your movie watching experience.
Makers have taken some cinematic liberties which can be ignored that
We give Notebook 3.5 stars with a jar of honey to those cute kids.
