Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor recently became parents to a baby boy. The happy couple named their newborn Taimur Ali Khan.
And if unless you’ve been on living under a rock and not at all opened your social media this week, you have wouldn’t have missed out on all the unnecessary outrage surrounding the choice of their baby boy’s name. For those who do not know, Taimur Lang was a Turko-Mongol conqueror who invaded India in 1398 and killed many people.
Rishi Kapoor who is Kareena’s uncle took to Twitter to respond to this outrage around the name, saying that it was the parents’ wish and has nothing to do with anyone else:
