Discovery Kids in collaboration with Reliance Animation and Rohit Shetty Picturez just launched the trailer of their animated police series Little Singham.
At the launch, Rohit Shetty spoke about the original Singham, wanting to make a film on women police, children and lots more.
During the event when Rohit was asked about how he came with the idea of Singham, he said,
“Singham happened by accident. I had met with reliance for a film when I saw the Tamil Singham and asked them to remake it in Hindi. Singham wasn’t planned it just happened and it has got its cult status cause of the audience, not me.”
Further, when asked if he would be interested in working with kids, he said,
“If I get a subject I would want to work with kids in future, I want to experiment with kids.”
When Rohit was quizzed about the superheroes in his movies and now cartoons not bring woman-centric, he replied,
“We plan on making a woman based police film but that will take some time and it will happen post-Simmba. But I definitely want to make one movie with a lady supercool.”
Dabur Red Paste presents Little Singham will air on Discovery Kids every day 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm every day from 21st April.
