After an impressive performance in Stree, Shraddha Kapoor is now all set for her next release, Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
Speaking about her character in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shraddha says,
“I play Lalita Nautiyal in the film. She has a very strong conscience. She will also look for a guy for herself to get married to. Even before her mom and her dadi want her to get married. She’s like, ‘You’ll not look for me, I have to look for it myself.’ She is quite one of a kind.”
When Shraddha was asked if, like her character, she’s also looking for a guy to get married, she said,
“I am not looking right now. There is no time to look also. (laughs) You need time to nurture a relationship. So, no, there is no time right now.”
So it seems, there’s still time for wedding bells to ring for Shraddha.
Batti Gul Meter Chalu also stars Shahid Kapoor, Yami Gautam & Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles and is slated to release on September 21, 2018. It is directed by Shree Narayan Singh who directed Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
