Dulquer Salmaan is all set to star opposite Sonam Kapoor in the film adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 best seller novel, The Zoya Factor. In the film, Dulquer will be seen essaying the part of the Indian Cricket Team captain while Sonam will play an executive in an advertising agency.
Initially, The Zoya Factor was set to release on April 5, 2019 – but that got postponed. It was later proposed to hit screens on June 14 but would coincide with the Cricket World Cup 2019. The makers felt that the release will help it attract more audiences. However, with Salman Khan’s Bharat releasing a week earlier, it was decided to push the release date and find an open slot somewhere else.
But if that wasn’t all, the grapevine also states that though the film was initially slated to hit screens in June, a major chunk of post-production is yet to be completed. After delaying the release twice, the makers have finally announced a new release date – September 20, 2019.
Sonam revealed a glimpse of the film along with the confirmed release date.
We're back after the strategic timeout 😉
