A special screening of Sachin: A Billion Dreams was today arranged by the makers of the film for UNICEF South Asia, for underprivileged children with the help of UNICEF and NGO PRATYeK.
The children were inspired after watching the docu-drama which traces the cricketer’s journey from a young boy to a cricketing legend.
The NGO PRATYeK which in Hindi means ‘every being’ recognises children as primary stakeholders of society and therefore seeks to provide them with local, national and international forums and platforms towards effectively changing the policies and systems by providing them opportunities to influence policy making and ensure their effective implementation.
Recently special screenings of Sachin A Billion Dreams were also organised by the makers of the film for villagers of Puttamraju Kandriga.
